I received my degree from the Ural State Academy of Architecture and Arts in 2009. During my BA education, I tended to devote my attention to the brief, requirements, rules and regulations, as well as cultural, social, and economic issues of projects.

The desire to develop my own design thinking and to learn to work independently brought me to ChelseaCollege of Art and Design, where I graduated from in 2010 with a Graduate Diploma in Interior Design. Inspired by my tutors and life in London, I went on creating spatial projects that centre around story.
In my first project, entitled “The Translation of Dreams”, I divided my design into two parts: The Dream and The Reality. I contemplate my design process as a metaphorical journey into the world of dreams and fantasies. Reflecting on the journey I undertook throughout this project allowed me to start working on my own methodology.

In the second book “A Pearl in the Desert”, my interest in the narration of the project became more accented as well as the relation of the means of expression to it. I was influenced by Jung’s psychoanalytical theory, metaphysical painting and surrealism, which brought me to the development of several issues which are contained in the project. The main idea is the notion of the cycle, which brings unity to the opposites. The others are about the initial order of the site, the consideration of the shadow in its architectural understanding and the determination in the context of personality in the collective unconscious and juxtapositions. To put it simply, I was interested in how to integrate a new structure into an existing old building, in the interrelation of the outer space and the project by means of the shadow, in the ghostly aspect of the objects and in the opposites correlation resolving it by means of using the terms of consciousness-unconsciousness.
