Material Experiments

I've been experimenting with the new material. This new object obtains qualities of tangibility, sense of touch. It allows to observe the space through it's translusent fabric and has an oculus for a focused vision, which dissapears during the rotation of one of the rigid metal circles.

Project development for British Land.

Development of the model is determined by the technical questions which refer to the doability of the installation. One of the ways, which I'm working on at the moment, is to leave the concaves with the look as if they were still made from the solid piece of material. In this case I propose usage of sylicone, rubber or latex, which would be stretched onto the rigid metal construction.

Critical Research Paper - Outline

Research for the site

The notion of transcendence may reveal itself in the modern world by the desire of flights into the cosmos and urge for exploration of outer space. The objects that I'm working on require the space of transition and I believe that the area made for deliverance into a different dimension may become that site.
